Leslie Nesbitt, LPC Associate

Leslie is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Mary King, MS, LPCS. She is also a Certified Professional School Counselor in the state of Texas. Leslie has over 8 years of experience teaching Special Education and currently teaches Professional Communications within College and Career Readiness. She was also employed by American Airlines for 20 years in various management positions.

Leslie’s approach draws from cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, and solution-focused therapy. She works with adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, autism, body dysmorphia, career, depression, grief, life transitions, and professional concerns to get to the root of life struggles and maximize life’s potential.

Leslie grew up in the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas, where she developed a love for learning about different cultures. Leslie obtained her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a concentration in U.S.-Latin American Relations from Texas State University and her Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University.

Leslie has been married to her husband for 21 years. They have two children, aged 17 and 19. She loves to read and work on puzzles in her spare time. In addition, she is the lead soprano in her church choir.

Leslie currently charges $90 per 50-minute session.
